A piece of underwear that has changed over time, to keep up with the needs of women from century to century. We can use it every day or just occasionally, but even so, the question arises: how often should you wash a bra?
In general, it should be washed after every two or three uses. Note that washes should not be abused, in order not to damage the elasticity of the garment, which is essential for good breast support. However, if it is a sports bra with which you sweat or if it is a particularly hot day, it should be put in the laundry basket immediately after use.
When washing, there are two options: by hand or in the machine. If we opt for the former, it is advisable to fill a bowl with cold water and just a few drops of a mild detergent. The garment must be submerged in water for ten minutes, before carefully rubbing the underarm area and the back band. In the end, just rinse with clean water and let it dry.
Those who are not available for this process should make sure that they choose a delicate washing mode, at the lowest possible temperature and without spinning.
